On Friday, I saw my diabetes nurse for the second time, where I was given the results of my most recent set of blood tests. Pleased to announce that my HbA1c has gone down to 41 mmol/mol, and as a result my metformin has been reduced from 850mg twice a day to 500mg twice a day. The new pills are a bit smaller than the old, as you may be able to see from the photo at the top.

All other bloods were normal, including cholesterol, which is faintly amazing, given that my phone has an app that allows me to order pizza.
