So, dear reader, how are my lifestyle changes going?
Well, for the past couple of weeks I have had one of those awful, unending colds, and Michael has been unwell too. Physical activity has been largely out the window, although I have generally closed most of my exercise rings most days. Food, well, I haven’t been eating well, but I have kept my blood glucose under control, with weekly averages in the 6 to 6.5 mmol/L range.
The thing about improving your lifestyle is that life sometimes gets in the way. You can have the best intentions, but things outside your control stop you meeting your goals.
My plan is to just keep ticking over for the rest of this phase, and look at how I can improve things better in phase 2.
